Recipe(tried): Meat and Veggies in the Fondue Pot

Hi Sue,
alot of folks do so much with fondue you may think this is boring but back yes in the seventies dad & Ellen would have fondue for us at night and we would play dominoes while we ate!
Dad would do a 1/2 1/2 butter oil in the pot and cut up serloin in cubes marinade lesser cuts in itailian dressing then some vegies cut up, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, onion chunks ect.
set out all and let each "fry" what ever in hot oil.
One of the keys was he would make up different dips for them
like a honey mustard or a ranch style or any kind of homemade dressing thinkedn a bit. we would put dressings in little cups and just dip in there and eat
