Recipe: Melting Moments (cookie balls rolled in powdered sugar, no nuts)

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
MELTING MOMENTS

1 cup butter or margarine, room temperature
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
Vanilla
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.

Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and a few drops of vanilla. Add the flour and mix to a stiff dough.

Make small balls and place on prepared cookie sheets.

Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 15 minutes.

While still warm, roll in confectioners' sugar.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies
