Recipe: Dark Chocolate Frosting (using confectioner's sugar and evaporated milk)

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
4 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
4 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup evaporated milk, undiluted
2 teaspoons vanilla
Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler or saucepan. Place over low heat until chocolate melts, stirring constantly.
Gradually stir in confectioners' sugar. Add salt, milk and vanilla; beat with electric mixer until smooth.
