Recipe: Mincemeat cookies for Turkey Mom

Hi there, I went digging around in my pantry and found a box of none such.
here is the recipe on the back.
Fruited Shortbread Cookies
makes about 3 dozen
combine:
2 1/2 C. sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
in large mixing bowl beat until fluffy:
1 C. margarine or butter, softened
1 1/2 C. confectioners sugar
add and mix well:
1 egg
stir in:
1 (9oz.) pkg none such condensed mincemeat crumbled
1 tsp vanilla extract
Add flour mixture, mix well (dough will be stiff). Roll into 1 1/4" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets, flatten slightly. bake 10 - 12 min or till light brown.
oven 375 F
