Recipe(tried): Mom's Flan Recipe

Here's my Mom's Flan Recipe

1 can evaporated milk
1 1/4 cup sugar
6 eggs
1 (8 ounce) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla

-mix all the ingredients and strain.

-in a 8-inches round mold add 3/4 cup additional sugar and put on very low heat in stove, swirling until the botton and half way sides are covered with the caramel-be very careful since the pan will get very hot.

-fill the caramelized pan with the mixture.

-bake at 350F in a bain de Marie for 1 1/2 hours.

*for the vanilla variation just omit the cheese
*for the pumpkin variation add 1 cup mashed pumpkin
