Recipe(tried): My Tomato Apple Jam

Preserving - Jams, Jellies
Here is my Tomato and Apple Jam recipe. I pulled it together from some I found on line. It is more like marmalade if you choose large lemons. Enjoy

MY TOMATO APPLE JAM

2 lemons, chopped
2 oz ginger root
1 cinnamon stick
water
3 cups sugar
2 cups apple, diced
1 pint tomatoes, peeled, cored, and sliced

Cook lemons, ginger and cinnamon in small amount of water until lemon is tender,

Add sugar, apple, and tomatoes, then boil until thick and clear.

Cool slightly, pour into sterile jars and seal. Store in refrigerator.

Makes about 1-2 pints.
