Nutty Coconut Bread (Bread Machine) - Regular Loaf
Source: Electric Bread
From: Vicki Crawford
Date: 30 Apr 97
Yield: 1 Loaf
This softly subtle bread has a wonderful, chewy texture. The coconut, pecans and walnuts make a harmonious trio in morning toast. Or serve this bread freshly-baked as an accompaniment to your favorite fruit salad.
3/4 cup water
2 cups white bread flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. cream of coconut, canned
3 tbsp. pecans
3 tbsp. walnuts
1 tsp. yeast, fast rise or machine OR 2 tsp. yeast, active dry
Success Hints:
For optimal flavor, use pure canned coconut milk instead of the water-added variety.
For additional chewy crunch, use shredded coconut.
Use regular or rapid bake cycle.
