Recipe: Oreo Pop Assembly Tips

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
Hi Debbie,

I haven't made these, but here are some tips I found:

- If inserting into the whole Oreo, try not to push the stick in too far or they will split - insert it less than halfway.

- Another tip is to twist open the Oreo (like for eating, with one half with all the filling and the other half plain cookie), lay the stick (they used a round lollipop stick) halfway up on the filling then gently push together with the plain half to surround the stick with the filling. (One tip said to put a dab of melted white chocolate on the stick before placing in the cookie filling and pressing the cookie back together. And to refrigerate it for 15 minutes before proceeding with the recipe.)

I hope that's a help!

Happy Holiday Cooking,

Betsy
