Recipe: Peanut Butter Balls (using corn flakes)
Misc.Hi Micheline,
Here are two recipes for you - I haven't tried either. If you don't want the chocolate the first recipe would probably still be good not dipped.
Happy Holidays,
Betsy
Peanut Butter Balls
2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups crushed corn flakes
2 cups peanut butter
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
Blend above ingredients well and chill.
Melt 12 ounce package semi-sweet real chocolate morsels in double boiler.
Shape peanut butter mixture into small balls and roll in melted chocolate. Chill until firm.
Peanut Butter Balls
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
6 cups corn flakes
Bring sugar and syrup to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add 1 cup peanut butter and vanilla.
Add corn flakes.
Shape into balls.
Place on waxed paper to cool.
