Peanut Butter Cup Brownies
rec.food.cooking/Charleen Bunjiovianna
Makes 14-16 individual brownies
I almost hesitate to post this; it's childishly simple. But I made these for a square dance weekend, and people absolutely *raved* about them. One man said, "That's triple chocolate, isn't it??" Well, no, they're just brownies... I made five other kinds of cookies as well, but these got the most compliments by far.
1 box Fudge Brownie mix
about 16 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup miniatures
Preheat oven as directed on package.
Make the brownie batter according to package directions. Fill foil cupcake cups 1/2 to 2/3 full. Peel the peanut butter cups and press one into the center of each brownie, so that the top is level with the brownie batter.
Bake for about half the time specified on the package for a pan of brownies.
