Recipe: Sally's Mexican Fudge - savory (1970's)
Appetizers and SnacksSALLY'S MEXICAN FUDGE
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup green taco sauce (or green enchilada sauce)
3 eggs
Combine cheeses; set aside.
In another bowl combine taco sauce and eggs and blend; set aside.
In a 9x9-inch baking pan, place 1/2 of the cheese mixture. Pour taco mixture over cheese, top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
To serve, cut into 1-inch squares and place on tortilla chips (corn or nacho flavor).
