Recipe: Perfect Pizza Crackers
Appetizers and SnacksPERFECT PIZZA CRACKERS
Mozzarella cheese block or ball (not shredded)
Crackers, your choice (article shows Ritz)
Pizza or other tomato sauce
Pepperoni slices or other favorite meat topping
Sliced mushrooms (canned or sauteed) or other favorite veggie topping.
Cut rectangles of mozzarella about 1/4-inch thick and the size of your cracker. Set aside.
Place desired number of crackers on a cutting board, platter or other surface.
Top with about a 1/4 teaspoon of pizza or tomato sauce. Place mozzarella slice on top of sauce, then top with another 1/4 teaspoon of pizza sauce.
Place pepperoni slice on top of sauce, then add a sliced mushroom.
