Recipe: Pineapple Nut Pudding (using biscuit mix, 1960's)

Desserts - Puddings, Gelatin
PINEAPPLE NUT PUDDING


1 cup biscuit mix
1/2 cup drained pineapple tidbits
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup milk
1 cup pineapple syrup or juice
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Dash nutmeg or cinnamon
Cream (for serving)

Combine first three ingredients. Stir in milk. Spread thin in bottom of greased 10x6x2-inch baking dish.

Bring the next four ingredients to boil and pour over dough,

Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees F) for 30 minutes.

Serve with cream.

Makes 6 servings
