Recipe: Pinwheels (cream cheese cookies with jam filling)

PINWHEELS

1/2 pound butter, softened
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

Cream butter and cheese, blend in flour and salt. Roll dough into thin rectangle, spread with good raspberry jam, and roll. Slice thinly. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees F. Time will depend on thickness. Start with 8 minutes, and work from there. Cookies should be lightly browned.
