Recipe: Re: Coca-Cola Cake

I have several Coca-Cola cake recipes. This sounds like the one you mean:

Coca-Cola Cake

2 c. unsifted plain flour
1 c. sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine
3 T. cocoa
1 c. Coca-Cola
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows

Sift flour & sugar into lg. mixing bowl. In saucepan, heat butter, cocoa, &
Coca-Cola to a boil. Pour over flour & sugar mixture. Mix thoroughly. Add
buttermilk, eggs, soda, vanilla & marshmallows. Mix well. Batter will be thin &
marshmallows will come to the top. Pour into sheet cake pan and bake at 350 for
30-35 minutes.

ICING
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
3 T. cocoa
6 or 7 T Coca-Cola
1 box confectioners' sugar

Pour butter, cocoa, & Coca-Cola over sugar & mix well. Pour over cake while it
is still warm. Optional: Add 1 c. toasted chopped pecans to icing.
