Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Muffins

5 tbl butter -- melted and cooled
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream
1 lrg egg
3/4 tsp soda water
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup miniature chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Combine first 6 ingred., mixing well. Stir in soda and baking powder. Add flour and stir till well blended; stir in chocolate chips. Fill paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake for 18 min. or till done.
