A QUESTION IS NEVER STUPID. I USUALLY LET THEM SET FOR ABOUT 1 MONTH TO 6 WEEKS. ONLY TROUBLE IS I HAVE TO HIDE THEM FROM MY HUSBAND AS HE'S THE OKRA FIEND. :)
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY CANNING. OUR OKRA IS JUST NOW STARTING TO TAKE OFF.
