Recipe(tried): Reheating pancakes
Misc.I just reheated some this morning! There were 2 in the refrigerator from yesterday's breakfast. I wrapped them in a paper towel and heated them in the microwave oven for 1 1/2 minutes at 50% power. Steamy hot and delicious! A single cake would take perhaps 45 seconds to a minute; more cakes obviously would take a little longer.
I make oatmeal pancakes in double batches to freeze for easy weekday breakfasts. I package servings of three together in separate sandwich bags, put all of the sandwich bags together in a freezer weight bag. When needed, I wrap a frozen 3-stack in a paper towel and heat at 100% power for 1 min and 50 secs. I check the center cake, and if it still feels cool, I give them another 10 seconds.
