APPLE OAT CRISP
FOR THE FILLING:
6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup apple juice (or orange juice)
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
FOR THE TOPPING:
1 1/2 cups rolled oats, uncooked
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter an 8x8-inch baking dish.
Combine all the filling ingredients; pour into the prepared baking dish.
Combine all the topping ingredients; spread over the filling.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until the topping is lightly browned and the apples are tender.
