Recipe(tried): Rillo's Signature Citrus Tomato Ginger Marinette Sauce

Toppings - Sauces and Gravies
I know it's been 4 years since you requested the recipe for Rillo's signature citrus tomato ginger marinette sauce but if you still want it, I got it from a waiter I dated years ago when Casa Rillo's was still in business. This is the recipe he gave me (I scaled it down because the original recipe made 2 gallons of sauce), this one makes several cups worth.

RILLO'S SIGNATURE CITRUS TOMATO GINGER MARINETTE SAUCE

1/2 cup fish sauce
2 cups tomato juice
1 small bottle of ketchup (I add mine to taste)
1/2 cup dry parsley flakes
1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
Pinch of black pepper
1/2 cup oil
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1/4 cup minced fresh ginger
1 Tbsp. minced fresh garlic
1/2 cup sugar
Ground cayenne pepper (optional, to taste)

Boil, stirring constantly, until reduced and thickened. Add cayenne pepper for additional heat if desired.

Enjoy!
