SANDWICH SLAW
2 cups chopped green cabbage
2 tablespoons minced onion
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Generous grinding of black pepper
Prepare the slaw, mixing all the ingredients together in a bowl.
Refrigerate, covered, for at least 30 minutes.
Makes 6 sandwiches
