Recipe(tried): Save your own best seeds
Misc. Perhaps this is too simple and everyone allready knows how to do it. But once I did not know how easy it is, and had to buy what seeds I could find at the store.
If you once obtain a prime or choice tomato, you can save enough seeds to plant your own crop of them. To do so simply spoon out the seeds before you eat the fruit. Place the seeds on a paper towel and blot away any excess moisture or meat of the fruit, with the paper towel. Then transfer the seeds to a fresh paper towel and allow them to thoroughly dry. After they dry pick the seeds off of the paper towel and store them in an enveloope until planting time. Label the envelope with any pertinant descriptive information such as the date and where the seeds came from and what you particularly liked about the fruit they produce.
