Recipe: Savory Herb Bread (using biscuit mix)

SAVORY HERB BREAD

2 1/4 cup Bisquick reduced fat baking mix
3/4 cup Yoplait fat free plain yogurt
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried parsley flakes)
1 tbsp chopped fresh or
1 tsp dried sage leaves
2 eggs
1 egg white
1 clove garlic, finely chopped (or 1/4 tsp garlic powder)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease round, 8x1-1/2 inch bakin pan.

Mix all ingredients together with fork until moistened; beat vigorously 1minute. Spread in pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes. Run knife or metal spatula around side of loaf, pressing gently to loosen; remove from pan. Serve warm.

Makes 1 loaf (16 wedges)
