GOLDEN CRUST BEEF STEAK
1/2 pound beef top round steak, 1/3-inch thick
1 egg
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons tine dry bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon salt
Olive or cooking oil (for frying)
Cut beef into 2 servings. Let stand in beaten egg 15 minutes.
Dredge steak in flour mixed with bread crumbs and salt.
Pour 1/4 inch oil in skillet. Fry steak quickly in hot oil over high heat until golden, about 3 minutes on each side.
Makes 2 servings
