Recipe(tried): Side dish

I was asked to bring a side dish to a dinner party also. I didn't want to bring the same old side dishes. I was looking at a church cookbook my mom had when she was a young girl and this Italian Tomato Salad sounded good, so I tryed it. Now when I go to any outing I'm asked to bring this dish.

Italian Tomato Salad

18 each Italian black olives (pitted)
6 Large tamatoes (peel and cube)
1 small red onion (thinly slice and separated into rings)

Mix ingredients and pour over tomato mixture
1 cup Genoa Salami (diced)
1/2 cup fresh basil (chopped)
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1/4 cup parmesan (grated)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon capers
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon red-wine vinegar

Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours but no longer than 6 hours.
I leave the salami and some of the basil out if I don't have it on hand.
