Recipe(tried): Spaghetti Casserole

SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE

1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (16 oz) can tomatoes, mashed
2 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce
3 Tbsp. chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 (16 oz) can creamed corn
1 (8 oz) package spaghetti, cooked
1 (7 oz) can pitted black olives, sliced
1/2 pound cheddar cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown beef, onion, and garlic together.

Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper; simmer about 10 minutes.

Add corn, cooked spaghetti, and olives; mix well. Place in 3 quart oblong Pyrex dish; cover with foil.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Remove foil; sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake 15 minutes longer.

Yields 8 servings
