Hi Marta - I find brown paper bags work well - I usually keep lunch sized ones around for potatoes and mushrooms. You want to keep some air flow, so I cut a few notches through the bag before I open it out and put the mushrooms inside.
I find they can dry out in the bag, but they don't go slimy.
I learned this from a local Italian market - they had paper bags with holes pre-cut, next to the mushrooms - that's how you bought them.
