Strawberry Pretzel Salad

First layer:
2 cup crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted margarine
3 Tbsp sugar
Second layer:
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (4 1/2 oz.) container Cool Whip whipped topping
1 cup confectioners sugar
Third layer:
1 large pkg strawberry jello (6oz)
2 cup boiling water
1 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries
Preheat oven to 400. Combine pretzels, margarine and sugar for first layer. Put first layer in 9 x 13 pan. Bake 8 minutes. Remove to cool.
For the second layer beat sugar into cheese, fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzels.
Third layer is made by mixing Jello with boiling water. Stir to dissolve. Stir in the frozen strawberries. Mix together and set aside 10 minutes. Pour over cheese mixture. Refrigerate until firm. Cut the salad into squares and serve.
