Recipe(tried): SUNDAY DINNER---A DAY LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Menus

Yesterday we had stir fry, rice, zipper cream peas, sweet tea with lemon, croissants, and cheesecake for dessert.

I'm sure that all of you have watched the TV show, HOME IMPROVEMENT. My husband, bless him, is kind of like Tim Allen. He is always trying to make something more powerful. Unfortunately, his last endeavor was trying to give our computer MORE POWER. Our internet service was out for three days. It took the internet provider to send me faxed directions so that I could fix it. Krisitn tried, Rex tried, but I succeeded! (They didn't know that I was going through TKL withdrawal!)

I marinated the sirloin steak overnight in white wine, soy sauce, lemon juice, chopped green onions, and chopped garlic. I cooked the meat in a teensy bit of vegetable oil along with onions, garlic, and red and yellow bell peppers. After removing the meat, I added broccoli florets, cauliflower, baby carrots, Chinese cabbage, mushrooms, a healthy dose of soy sauce, and one can of beef broth. After the veggies had steamed, I added the beef and the peppers/onions/and garlic. I then thickened the stir fry mixture with a little cornstarch, water, and additional soy sauce. LOW fat and delicious!

It's good to be back with my TKL family!

Happy Monday
