Recipe(tried): Sunday Dinner at Our House - Rotisserie Ham with Apricot/Pineapple Glaze, Rutabagas, Macaroni and Cheese with Wine, Zipper Cream Peas, Cornbread, Sweet Tea with Lemon, Marbled Brownies

Menus
Today for lunch we had some tried and true favorites--rotisserie" ham with apricot/pineapple glaze,
rutabagas,
macaroni and cheese with wine,
zipper cream peas, CLAUSSEN Pickles, Aunt Nellie's Corn Relish, Aunt Nellie's Pickled Beets,
cornbread,
sweet tea with lemon, and Marbled Brownies. I've posted the other recipes many times. However, I don't know if I have posted the brownie recipe. It is easy and delicious!

MARBLED BROWNIES

1 pkg. brownie mix, prepared according to directions on package
1 pkg. cream cheese (I use the 1/3 less fat kind)
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Set aside. Spray a 9"X13" pan with PAM.

In a microwave-safe bowl, soften the cream cheese by putting it into the bowl and set the time for 3 minutes at power level 3. Remove the bowl from the microwave and add the sugar, vanilla extract, and the egg. Using a mixer, mix until the mixture is well-blended.

Pour the brownie mix into the prepared pan. Add the cream cheese mixture and swirl with a butter knife. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until brownies at the edge of the pan are done.

YIELD: 20 brownies.

Happy cooking!
