Recipe(tried): Super Cheese Sticks

Misc.

This is a recipe which we really enjoy.

Ingredients:

10-12 mozzarrella string cheese (depending on number of guests)
3 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 tsp. of oregano
1 tsp. of parsley flakes
salt to taste
3 cups of bread crumbs (italian flavor if available-Progreso makes it)
1 cup of parmesan cheese

Cut string cheese in half. Combine eggs, milk, oregano and salt. To make breading mixture, combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and parsley flakes.

Dip cheese in egg mixture and coat in breading mixture. To ensure that cheese is completely coated. Dip again in egg and roll in bread crumbs.

You can either bake for 30 min. at 350 degrees, or deep fry. Serve with marinara sauce.
