Recipe(tried): Super Nachos

Perhaps this is what you are looking for:

Super Nachos

Layer in order on a large ovenproof plate:

1st
1-2 cans (1 lb. each) refried beans

2nd
Brown and crumble over high heat: 1 lb. hamburger with 1 large chopped onion, drain; salt to taste

3rd
4 oz. can chopped green chilies

4th
2-3 cups shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

So far, may be prepared ahead and frozen.

When ready, bake at 400 deg. for 20-25 min.

Optional toppings in layers:
1 can frozen avacado dip, thawed
shredded lettuce
chopped tomatoes
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 cup sliced black olives
parsley sprigs
chopped mild red pepper

Serve as a dip with corn chips.
