Recipe: Swedish Meatballs (using brown gravy mix)
Appetizers and SnacksSWEDISH MEATBALLS
1 lb. ground sausage
3 lb. ground beef
2 eggs
2 slices bread, crust removed, soaked in 1/2 cup milk
1/4 of a large onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
4 pkg. French's brown gravy mix
4 cups water
1 1/2 cups sour cream, added last (don't boil)
hot cooked noodles or rice (for serving)
Mix all ingredients except gravy, water, and sour cream. Spoon into balls. Place on a baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees F about 10 minutes or until brown, according to size.
Prepare gravy as directed on package. Pour over meatballs and simmer 30 minutes.
Add sour cream just before serving over noodles or rice.
VARIATION:
Make smaller balls for serving in chafing dish.

This is the closest recipe I've found so far. It's a large recipe but you can cut it in half. It doesn't call for dill but you can add it - I would try 1/2 tsp to 2 lbs meat (half recipe).
