Recipe(tried): Sweet and Sour Brussel Sprouts

Misc.
Noone asks for a brussel sprouts recipe, but this is one of my favorite recipes. When I serve these, I am aways asked for the recipe. I found this in a Better Homes & Gardens magazine.

Sweet and Sour Brussel Sprouts
3 C. (two 9 oz. pkg.) frozen brussel sprouts
8 slices bacon
2 TB sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook brussel sprouts until tender; drain. Meanwhile in a skillet cook bacon until crisp. Drain and save 1/4 c. of the drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. To reserved drippings, add vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Add brussel sprouts and stir until heated through and well coated. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon. makes 6 to 8 servings.
