Recipe: Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wing Sauce

Hi Linda,

Here's my Sister's chicken wing sauce recipe that's similar to a bottled sauce that's sold here (Country Sweet). It's different than Buffalo chicken wing sauce, but I though you might enjoy it if you prefer a sauce that isn't hot.

Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wing Sauce

1 cup sugar
2/3 cup prepared mustard
3/4 cup catsup
1/4 to 1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 to 1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard (optional)
1/2 to 2 teaspoons hot pepper flakes

Combine all in a small saucepan and simmer until thickened. Vary the amounts of lemon juice and vinegar to adust the sweetness to your liking.
