Recipe: Sweet Cream Biscuits (using Bisquick)

SWEET CREAM BISCUITS

"For biscuits that are evenly golden brown on both top and bottom, use a shiny cookie sheet."

2 cups Bisquick baking mix
3/4 cup heavy (whipping) cream
2 tablespoons sugar

Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Grease cookie sheet.

Mix all ingredients together until soft dough forms. Turn dough onto surface well dusted with baking mix; gently roll to coat. Shape into ball; knead 10 times.

Roll 1/2-inch thick. Cut with 2-inch cutter dipped in baking mix. Place on cookie sheet.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

VARIATION:

DROP SWEET CREAM BISCUITS:
After mixing ingredients, drop by 12 spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake as directed.

Makes about 1 dozen biscuits
