The southern area of PR, especially from Coamo to Santa Isabel are extremely dry. It looks like a desert & it is prone to constant sparks & fires. You will realize that inmediately that you cross the island & enter the Southern part.

Thanks to God, as you so well said, after the fires all the green vegetation is reborn & looks absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for your well wishes & for the great description.
