Recipe: Tiramisu Squares

1 env. unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 prepared marble or chocolate poundcake (14 oz)
3 Tablespoons coffee liqueur
16 oz cream cheese
1 container (15 oz) ricotta cheese
1-1/2 cups conf. sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup mini chocolate pieces
unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Soften gelatin in water in heatproof dish, 3 minutes. Place dish in skillet of simmering water; stir gelatin to dissolve.

Slice cake into scant 1/2-inch thick slices. Fit slices in bottom of 13x9x2 inch baking pan in single layer, cutting and adding scraps to fit snugly. Drizzle liqueur over cake.

Process cream cheese, ricotta, sugar, and cocoa in food processor till smooth. Add gelatin mixture, processing to blend. Add chocolate pieces and process just to combine. Scrape into prepared pan, spreading over cake. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill 3 hours or till set. Dust with cocoa, cut in squares.
