Recipe(tried): Toasted Sandwiches

I find that toasted sandwiches are a great alternative to sandwiches especially in the winter months. A few recipe ideas are:

- plain cheese toasted sandwich

- cheese and tomato or bbq sauce (avoid fresh tomatoes as the sandwich goes soggy)

- cheese toast with any vegetables available

- leftover toasted sandwiches - use any leftover meats or vegetables (beans etc) - i find mince meat or mince patties, with a little tomato sauce and a litttle cheese to be yummy....

- for vegetarians - any vegetables work well particularly capsicum and mushroom

- low fat versions - substitute cheese with ricotta cheese, add a little chilli(if u like it spicy) or a bit of oregano and sauce and toast..mmmm
