Recipe: Tuna Burger with Lemon Mayonnaise
SandwichesTUNA BURGER WITH LEMON MAYONNAISE
FOR THE TUNA BURGERS:
1 (6 1/2 oz) can tuna, drained
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup minced celery
1 cup Hellmann's Real or Light mayonnaise or Low Fat Mayonnaise Dressing 1/4 cup minced onion
1 tsp. Lemon juice
FOR THE LEMON MAYONNAISE:
1 cup Hellmann's Real or Light mayonnaise or Low Fat Mayonnaise Dressing
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
TO SERVE:
4 English muffins, split, toasted and buttered
Lettuce and tomato slices.
TO MAKE THE TUNA BURGERS:
In medium bowl combine tuna, bread crumbs, egg, celery, mayonnaise, onion and lemon juice until blended. Cover, chill 1 hour.
TO MAKE THE LEMON MAYONNAISE:
Combine 1 cup HELLMANN'S Real or Light mayonnaise or Low Fat Mayonnaise Dressing and 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel. Chill to blend flavors. Cover, refrigerate. Makes 1 cup
WHEN READY TO COOK:
Shape tuna mixture into 4 burgers.
Heat lightly greased skillet over medium heat. Add tuna burgers; cook turning once, 6 minutes or until lightly browned.
TO SERVE:
Layer lettuce, tomato and tuna burgers on bottom muffin halves. Top with Lemon Mayonnaise and remaining muffin halves.
Makes 4 sandwiches
