Recipe: Tuna Macaroni Casserole (using cottage cheese, not baked)

Main Dishes - Fish, Shellfish
TUNA MACARONI CASSEROLE

1 lb. uncooked macaroni (or noodles)
1 lb. cottage cheese
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna (best with oil)*

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain (don't rinse).

Add cottage cheese, butter and tuna with oil. Stir and serve. Salt and pepper to taste.

*Can be made without tuna.
