Recipe(tried): Variety Bean Bake, YUM!
Misc.Renee, give this one a try. Serves 50 but is easy to cut in half.
Variety Bean Bake
1 lb bacon, cut up, fried & drained
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 cup dehydrated onions, or 2 fresh, chopped
1 1/4 cups vinegar
2 cups brown sugar
2 & 1/2 cans butter beans, drained
2 cans kidney beans, drained
2 cans lima beans, drained
2 1/4 qts. pork & beans, undrained (2-28 0z cans + 1-15 oz can)
Combine and bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
I've done these in a roaster oven, crock pot, oven and on top of the stove,
they're always good. Stir often, leave cover off some of the time.
