Recipe: No Bake Cookies (correction 1-6-06 and question for Monica)

This is the one that Use.

NO BAKE COOKIES

2 sticks (1 cup) butter or margarine*
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 milk
3 1/2 cups oats {I use the quick not the old fashion)
2 heaping tablespoons of peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Place the butter in a pan on the stove add the sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Stir often over medium heat until it comes to a full rolling boil. Boil for 3 minutes.

Take of heat and stir in oats, peanut butter, and vanilla. Place by teaspoons on to wax paper.
