WALDORF SALAD
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3 medium apples, diced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Combine ingredients. Cover; chill.
I just tried the apple salad at ruby tuesday. It reminded me of waldorf salad my grandma used to make. At ruby's I think it may have been sweeter and creamier. I would try adding whipped cream with the mayo. Also she would sometimes put grapes in it which I recommend. At the end she would add nutmeg which was the best touch ever. It was really delicious if you like nutmeg.
