Recipe(tried): Whiskey Marmalade

Preserving - Jams, Jellies
Whiskey Marmalade

1 can of prepared Seville Oranges (850grams) (I use "Mamade" brand)
Place into a 5 quart saucepan.
Add:
1 1/2 cups whiskey
1/4 cup water
4 lbs sugar

Bring it all to a boil and cook at the boil for 20 minutes. Test for the gel point. Pour into sterilized jars. Store in refrigerator.
