Recipe: White Christmas Jewel Fudge

White Christmas Jewel Fudge

3 (6oz.) packages premium white chocolate (18 oz.)
1 (14 oz.) can Eagel Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk(not evaporated)
1 1/2 t. vanilla extract
1/8 t. salt
1/2 c chopped green candied cherries
1/2 c chopped red candied cherries

Over low heat, melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and salt. Remove from heat; stir in cherries. Spread into foil lined 8 or 9 inch square pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.
Preparation time 10 minutes. Makes about 2 1/4 lbs.I put a few of these when I am making tins of treats for family it gives a festive color.


Vanessa's Cajun Pralines

1 cup light brown sugar
2 t. vanilla
2 T. karo syrup
3 cups chopped pecans or peanuts
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 block margarine

Cook brown sugar, sugar, milk, syrup, margarine and nuts on high stirring until boil starts. Add vanilla last. Stir occasionally after boiling. Cook for 20 minutes or hard boil stage. Makes 1 1/2 dozen large pieces or 2 1/2 small pieces.
