Recipe: Zesty Barbecued Chicken Wings (microwave/serves 3)

1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
2 tsp. sugar
12/ tsp. salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
I Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
Few dashes bottled hot pepper Sauce
12 chicken wings (2 1/2 lb.)
in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish, combine onion, celery, green pepper, water, and garlic. Microwave, covered, at HIGH for 4 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire, parsley, sugar, salt, and hot pepper sauce. Microwave, uncovered, at HIGH 3 minutes, stirring once.
Place chicken wings, tips down, in sauce, turning to coat. Microwave, covered at MEDIUM HIGH for 30 minutes or till tender, rearranging once.
Pass pan sauce with wings.
