ISO: 1930's Dried Apple Cake

My daughter-in-laws grandmother is in her 70's and in ill health. She asked me to try to find a recipe for her grandmother. I have tried everywhere to find one. Mrs.Staton said that her mom made one for her as a little girl but lost the recipe. I am doing all I can to help find one for this sweet lady while she is able to enjoy it.
If you have this recipe I would be most greatful if youd' send it to me.
