ISO: Apple Chunk Cake

Years ago, I used to make a really moist cake with apple chunks.
I've since lost this recipe and have been looking for it for years.
I remember making a soft batter then adding chunks of apples and it comes out with a kind of crispy top but the cake is VERY moist and tender with hints of cinnamon. Anyone have a recipe that sounds like this one?
