ISO: Apple Quick Bread

A few years ago I found a recipe for apple bread in a magazine. It used fresh apples and sugar that sat at room temp for an hour or so. This made the liquid for the quick bread. The lady that submitted it said her mother used to bake it every year and it was the official start of their holiday season.
